Relatively undiscovered as a golf holiday destination, Tuscany (Italy) has a surprising number of top quality golf courses spread through the region. Golf in Tuscany, represents an exciting, all-round experience. Golf courses can be found in unique, enchanting locations where the crowning glory is often the natural setting itself. Green undulated hills, cypresses, age-old olive trees, rivers, ponds and a mild climate that allows golf to be played for most of the year are combined with an extremely ancient history, a unique artistic wealth as well as an unequalled food and wine heritage. The offer of new, modern and technically enthralling golf courses together with greatly appreciated, historical, internationally recognised greens make golf in this region an experience not to be missed.

It is hard to find a more agreeable climate for golf holidays from early spring (March) to late Autumn (November). Combine this with the culture, the wine and food heritage, fine hotels and amazing cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa and you and your family will have a unique travel experience.

This media event dedicated to golf and wine is a first opportunity for the press to see and experience directly the challenging golf courses in Tuscany as well as the incredible wines, olive oil, truffles and other gourmet specialties the region has to offer.

5-nights accommodation, dinners and all press-tour activities will be hosted. Availability for this media tour is limited to 8 journalists. If you would like to participate , please download the form below and send it with a letter of assignment and/or two recent clips for consideration no later than August 20, 2011. The Organiser and Macana Golf & Leisure will review all submissions. 

Airfare is not provided. Visitors and guests may participate paying a discounted fee for the tour.
